Flow Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and Seller Identity

By downloading, installing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using Flow or any Flow bundle app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the software.

Flow is supplied and licensed by Allan Monge Jiménez, operating as Chirripó Studio, a Costa Rica-based independent software studio.

2. Product Scope

Flow is a direct-download bundle of native macOS utilities: Clippings, Detour, Insomnia, SnapWrite, Biwave, Markleap, Adieu, and Vozz where offered as part of the bundle. The bundle is sold as software, not consulting, custom development, a marketplace, physical goods, donations, crypto products, or product resale.

Planned, beta, preview, waitlist-only, or launching-soon features are not promised as available until the relevant release note, app screen, checkout page, or download page says they are available. Beta, preview, and early-access features are provided as-is, may change, may be discontinued, and may be limited to testing unless a product page or checkout says otherwise.

Adieu is a user-controlled ad and content blocker for the device owner. It is not parental-control software, spyware, covert monitoring software, or a tool for monitoring third parties.

3. Trials, Checkout, and Provider Terms

Flow's public trial model is currently a 30-day app-side trial with no credit card required. You will not be billed unless you intentionally start a paid subscription or purchase through checkout.

When paid Flow checkout becomes available through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy will act as merchant of record and authorized reseller for purchases made through chirripo.studio under the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms. For purchases processed through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy is responsible for the checkout transaction, payment processing, applicable tax calculation and remittance, invoicing, refund administration, chargeback handling, and the customer billing portal. Chirripó Studio remains the product supplier and licenses and supports the software under these Terms. App-store or reseller providers may apply their own buyer terms if Flow is later distributed through those channels. Until paid Flow checkout becomes available, no Flow transactions are processed.

4. Pricing, Renewal, and Cancellation

Flow prices, billing intervals, discounts, taxes, VAT, currency conversion, and final totals are shown on the applicable product page or checkout before purchase. Pricing may change prospectively, but any price shown at checkout controls the transaction you approve.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period unless checkout says otherwise. Flow subscribers can manage billing, payment methods, downloads, license keys, and cancellation through the Lemon Squeezy billing/customer portal link provided after purchase or in receipts, or by contacting support@chirripo.studio. App-store-distributed subscriptions, when applicable, are managed in the app-store subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but access continues until the end of the current paid billing period unless checkout or applicable law says otherwise.

5. Refunds

First-time paid subscribers may request a refund within 14 days of the first paid charge by emailing support@chirripo.studio with the order email and order number. Renewals, partial billing periods, abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, and repeated refund requests may be refused unless applicable law requires otherwise.

EU/UK or other consumers may have non-waivable cancellation or withdrawal rights under applicable law. For direct-download digital content purchased through Lemon Squeezy, checkout may ask you to consent to immediate performance, download, activation, or license delivery and to acknowledge that statutory withdrawal rights can be lost once the digital content is supplied, where applicable law allows. Our 14-day first-charge refund policy is offered separately from any non-waivable statutory rights.

For Flow purchases made through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy may also issue refunds at its discretion within 60 days of purchase to prevent chargebacks, per its refund and chargeback policy. Before raising a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or bank for a Lemon Squeezy transaction, contact Lemon Squeezy through the applicable receipt, order, or customer portal channel. App-store or reseller providers may apply their own refund handling rules, deadlines, and buyer terms to purchases made through their checkout.

6. Eligibility, License, and Use Rules

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and have legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you use Flow for an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that organization to these Terms.

Subject to these Terms and your active trial, subscription, or purchase, Chirripó Studio grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Flow apps for personal or internal business use.

License keys, activation limits, device limits, subscription status, and access periods may be controlled by Chirripó Studio systems or third-party checkout and licensing systems. Flow subscriptions include activation on up to two Macs at launch. Do not share, resell, publish, rent, sublicense, or transfer license keys unless Chirripó Studio gives written permission.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, bypass licensing or technical protections, use Flow to break the law, interfere with networks you do not control, distribute malware, infringe third-party rights, violate export-control or sanctions laws, or use Adieu as spyware, parental-control software, covert monitoring software, or unauthorized surveillance software. You also may not use Flow or Chirripó infrastructure to harass others, send spam, scrape at scale, probe systems without permission, overload download/update services, or bypass rate limits. These restrictions apply except where applicable law gives you non-waivable rights.

7. Your Content and Data

You keep ownership of your local content, product data, and user content, including clipboard items, snippets, templates, routing rules, Markdown files, blocklists/allowlists, support files, and other materials you create or choose to process with Flow apps.

You are responsible for your local data, backups, device security, account security, and compliance with laws and third-party rights that apply to your use of Flow.

If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow Chirripó Studio to use them without restriction or compensation, while you keep ownership of any underlying content you submit.

8. Third-Party Materials and Updates

Flow may include or interoperate with third-party materials such as open-source software, macOS frameworks, blocklists, hosts files, audio assets, documentation, download services, update services, payment providers, licensing providers, app stores, and other integrations. Third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses, notices, and terms.

Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, licensing, or continued subscription access. Third-party notices for Flow are available at /flow/legal/attributions/ and may be updated as app dependencies, blocklist sources, audio sources, or distribution channels change.

Send copyright or intellectual-property complaints to legal@chirripo.studio with enough detail to identify the work, the material at issue, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that you believe the use is unauthorized.

9. Support, Complaints, and Termination

Contact support@chirripo.studio for Flow support, refund requests, and complaints. You may stop using Flow at any time. Chirripó Studio may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse license keys, attempt fraud, infringe third-party rights, or use the software in a way that creates legal, security, or operational risk.

10. Warranty Disclaimer and Liability

Flow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law. Chirripó Studio does not promise that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every system configuration, or suitable for every use case.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Chirripó Studio's liability is limited to the amount you paid for Flow during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Chirripó Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice does not limit any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence or any mandatory rules that apply to the transaction.

12. General Legal Terms

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control. Chirripó Studio may assign these Terms to an affiliate or successor connected with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets; you may not assign them without written permission.

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. These Terms, together with Flow product, checkout, and provider terms referenced here, are the agreement for your use of Flow.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as Flow moves from pre-launch to paid checkout and public release. The "last updated" date shows the latest version. Material changes that affect paid subscribers will be communicated through reasonable product, website, email, or checkout notices where required.
