Chirripó Studio is the public studio brand of Allan Monge Jiménez, a Costa Rica-based independent software maker. This policy covers the umbrella Chirripó Studio website at chirripo.studio and general studio communications.

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the Studio homepage, about page, blog, changelog, product directory links, general waitlist or contact forms, email sent to Chirripó Studio, and basic hosting logs for chirripo.studio. It does not govern product-specific use of Flow or Zen-Tavo.

Product-specific use is covered by product-specific policies and terms. Flow has its own privacy policy at /flow/legal/privacy/ and terms at /flow/legal/terms/. Zen-Tavo has its own privacy policy at zen-tavo.com/privacy and terms at zen-tavo.com/terms.

3. Data We Handle

• Website data: requested page, IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps, and error logs handled by hosting infrastructure.
• Messages and forms: your name, email address, message content, requested product, and any files or context you choose to send.
• Studio updates: email address and subscription preferences when you ask to receive launch notes or product updates.

4. How We Use Data

• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Studio website.
• To reply to messages, support requests, legal notices, and product inquiries.
• To send requested launch notes or product updates and maintain basic records needed for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.
• To direct product-specific requests to the appropriate product support or legal channel.

5. Sharing and Providers

We share personal data only with providers needed to operate the Studio website, send and receive email, process support or legal requests, comply with law, or protect Chirripó Studio and visitors from abuse. Chirripó Studio does not sell personal information and does not use Studio website messages for behavioral advertising.

6. Security, Retention, and Deletion

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards for the Studio website and communications. If we confirm a personal-data incident that requires notice, we will notify affected users and competent authorities without undue delay where required by applicable law.

Website logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Messages and support/legal emails are kept as long as reasonably needed for the purpose of the conversation and for legal, accounting, security, or dispute reasons.

You can ask to access, correct, delete, or stop processing your personal data by emailing legal@chirripo.studio. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

7. International Processing

Chirripó Studio is based in Costa Rica and may use providers in other countries, including the United States. By using the website or contacting Chirripó Studio, your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

8. Children and Privacy Signals

The Studio website is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

The Studio website does not use behavioral advertising. Browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals do not change the site behavior today because the Studio website does not currently sell personal information or perform cross-context behavioral advertising. You can email legal@chirripo.studio with any privacy request.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the Studio website, product links, providers, or contact channels change. The "last updated" date shows the latest version.
