Welcome to Chirripó

Today we’re launching Chirripó, a software studio dedicated to building premium Mac utilities.

Why the name?

Cerro Chirripó is Costa Rica’s highest peak at 3,820 meters. In the Cabécar indigenous language, chirripó means “land of eternal waters.” It felt right — a name rooted in the land we come from, pointing toward something elevated.

We build software the same way you’d climb that peak: one deliberate step at a time, no shortcuts, no unnecessary weight.

What we’re building

Our first desktop family is Flow — seven Mac utilities for clipboard history, link routing, wake sessions, text expansion, focus audio, Markdown reading, and system-wide ad blocking. Clippings is the clipboard memory piece of that bundle.

Flow is launching soon with a 30-day free trial. More products are in the works.

Our approach

We believe great software is simple software. Not simple as in limited — simple as in focused. Every feature earns its place. If it doesn’t make the product better, it doesn’t ship.

• No bloat. We’d rather ship less and ship it well.
• No surprise lock-in. When a product is a subscription, the pricing and scope are stated plainly.
• No tracking. Your data stays on your Mac.

What’s next

We’ll use this blog to share what we’re working on, what we’ve learned, and the occasional look behind the curtain. No filler, no fluff.
